Welcome back to a new school year at LJES!
As President of La Jolla Elementary’s PTO, I’m excited to greet both returning families and those new to our community.
I hope you had a restful, enjoyable summer and are ready for an exciting, productive school year ahead. The PTO is dedicated to supporting our students, teachers, and school staff to ensure a vibrant, enriching educational experience.
This year, we have a fantastic lineup of events and initiatives planned — including the Back to School Family Picnic, Family Science Night, Talent Show, Family Dance, Book Fair and more.
These activities don’t just enhance our children’s learning — they strengthen our entire school community.
Your involvement is crucial to our PTO’s success. I encourage you to attend PTO meetings the second Weds of each month— it’s a great opportunity to learn about our plans, share your ideas, and find out how you can get involved. Students are welcome to join and can read, color, or work quietly on homework in the library during meetings.
